Reconstruction begins

Works have commenced to restore the iconic E Factory building, well known for its column ground floor layout, located within Pragovka Art District. In March 2020 we have stepped forward towards delivering an international multifunctional building of more than 27,000 sqm with ground floor retail and gastro units alongside significant improvements to the public realm to provide a safe and inviting neighborhood.

Pragovka will once more offer the opportunity to engage directly with its local historical context, providing high value employment alongside brand new opportunities that are accessible to the wider local community and you can all become a part of this future.

When we took on this project, we weren’t interested in just site revitalization. We wanted to build a community. We wanted to create a hub that everyone can enjoy. That is also why we are very protective over our existing arts community, which we cherish deerly, guaranteeing our commitment to preserve this art district’s genius loci even after the reconstruction.

A hotspot of culture, creativity and diversity, Pragovka Art District will be Prague‘s latest mixed-use neighbourhoods – a place designed to collaborate, to innovate, and to embrace the future. A 22 ha development encompassing thoughtfully-designed workspaces, carefully curated retail, peaceful public spaces with a diverse cultural program of more than 200 events and exhibitions each year across the neighbourhood, which E Factory is the beating heart of.
