Zuzana Probstová Růžičková

Zuzana Růžičková is a painter and printmaker living in Prague. She graduated from the Printmaking, Drawing Studio under the tutelage of Vladimír Kokolia at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague. During her studies, she completed internships at Intermedia II Studio, Šaloun Studio, and also at the National Taiwan University of Art in Taipei. Her main focus is printmaking with overlaps to painting, object, and installation. Experimenting with materials and printing techniques, she creates her own techniques, e.g. gauze printing (printing on gauze) or soldering (modification of linocut in which solder is used instead of a stylus). She also works with perishable materials (green algae prints of exterior walls). She is a member of Association of Czech Graphic Artists Hollar. She exhibits in the Czech Republic and abroad (Switzerland, Austria, Hungary, Ukraine, Taiwan).
