Pavel is a graduate of the Secondary Glass-Making School in Valašské Meziříčí and the Sculpture II Studio under the tutelage of Jindřich Zeithammel at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague. During his studies, he underwent internships in the studio of Milan Knížák and in the Visiting Artist Studio of Magdalena Jetelová. He has participated in several sculpture symposia, such as Dialog generací Berlín Praha (Berlin, 2005), Flur-Markneukirchen in Saxony, or Rawabi in Palestine (2014).
