Karíma Al-Mukhtarová studied under the tutelage of Jiří Kovanda at the Faculty of Art and Design in Ústí nad Labem, in Jiří David's Intermedia Confrontation Studio (Fine Arts III) at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague and in Milena Dopitová's Intermedia Studio 1 at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague which she graduated from in 2018. In 2019, she completed a several-month CEAAC internship in Strasbourg, France. Last year, she participated in a prestigious residency at Art Omi in New York.
