Róbert Palúch

Robert studied Ceramics and Porcelain Processing at the School of Applied Arts in Košice and then Sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague under the tutelage of Jan Koblasa and later Jaroslav Róna. Fascinated by the world, the existential philosophy of life in relation to the universe, and the polarities of human perception, he transforms his ideas into objects and figures. The hybrid character of his work is enhanced by a specific sculptural humor and craftsmanship.
