During 1989–1995, he graduated from the Studio of Glass at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague under the tutelage of Vladimír Kopecký. Currently, he runs the experimental studio Time-based Media at the Faculty of Art and Design of the J. E. Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem with Pavel Mrkus. He has been exhibiting regularly since 1992. He has had solo exhibitions at the Prague City Gallery in 2013, the Gallery of the Central Bohemian Region in Kutná Hora in 2018, and the Gallery Dům in Broumov in 2020.
