Are you interested in the intersection of contemporary art, ecology, and geology? Summer School Becoming a Stone offers a unique opportunity to explore the concept of material time, slow geological transformations, and the relationship between humans and the mineral world.
The program brings together artistic, philosophical, and ecological approaches to the question of what we can learn from stones – their resilience, endurance, and their ability to record history. Through lectures, workshops, excursions, and discussions with artists, theorists, and curators, we will explore contemporary art as a tool for perceiving non-human perspectives in new ways.
