Open Call 2026 / International Residency Program

Pragovka Gallery is launching an open call for applications to its international residency program taking place in 2026. The call is open to both Czech and international artists, curators, and creative professionals.

The theme of the residency program is Mutual Benefits, offering space for exploring various forms of collaboration, sharing, and reciprocity — within art practice, society, as well as natural and technological systems.

Residencies will last from 2 to 8 weeks, depending on the nature of each project. The deadline for applications is October 15, 2025 at 11:59 PM (CET).

Selected projects will receive:

• a studio space of 80 m²,

• accommodation and travel expenses (by agreement),

• an artist fee and contribution towards materials,

• PR and production support.

Applications must be submitted via the online form. Each application should include a project proposal and a portfolio with a short bio. Results will be announced by the end of October 2025.

The call is open to individuals as well as collectives – artists, curators, and creative teams – who are interested in engaging with the possibilities and boundaries of collaboration, and in reflecting on cultural infrastructure as a dynamic system based on mutual support.
