Every Wednesday at 9:00 AM, the Pragovka Gallery transforms into a space of calm and focus, where a gentle morning yoga class is held under the guidance of instructor Barbora Zlatohlávková. The class takes place right among the displayed artworks, creating a unique atmosphere that nurtures both body and soul.
With the arrival of autumn, we asked Barbora to share how this season influences her yoga practice. We posed three questions:
How does your practice change with the arrival of autumn?
“With the arrival of autumn, I more often incorporate yin yoga and yoga nidra into my practice. For me, autumn is a time when I turn inward more and benefit from this type of slow and introspective practice.”
Do you have a personal autumn ritual you would recommend to others?
“Autumn is my favorite season, so my favorite ritual is a walk through the forest, which is playing with all kinds of colors. For me, it is a form of meditation.”
What do you like most about practicing yoga in the gallery?
“What I like most about yoga in the gallery is that we practice in an environment where art, movement, and breath meet. It’s different and inspiring. I also really enjoy the group of students, which is slowly growing.”
Come join us for a yoga session among the artworks. We look forward to seeing you!
The price of one class is 250 CZK. Reservations are required via email at info@pragovkagallery.cz.
