Magdaléna Pacáková / Open Studio

Magdaléna Pacáková studied free art at Umprum in Prague and is currently continuing her studies in geobotany at the Faculty of Science. In her work, she is mainly engaged in painting and tattooing. Her works are connected by the formation of fantasy stories rooted in the reality she finds around her. Recently, she has also been combining her interest in botany with her artwork. She bases her themes on exact botanical knowledge, but grasps them with her relaxed expressive handwriting. In the project Plant, Where Are You Growing? Magdalena will focus on the phenomenon of unfinished plant growth. Inspiration comes from different life strategies, whose main goal is to grow and outgrow.
