Her story weaves through contrasting worlds: from the shadowy corners of the dissident scene in communist Czechoslovakia, to high-end fashion studios in Japan, and finally to the turbulent streets of free Berlin during the fall of the Iron Curtain. Drawing from her vast archive of analog photographs and personal diaries, director Klára Tasovská has crafted a visually and narratively unconventional documentary that received acclaim at the prestigious Berlinale festival.
