André and Vera are the perfect couple – not just in their personal lives, but also in the fast-paced world of their ambitious start-up, to which they’ve dedicated everything. Their lives are carefully curated to meet every standard of success: polished image, rehearsed pitches, controlled behavior. When they qualify for a prestigious competition led by a powerful business mentor, it seems they’re just one step away from making it big. But then Vera decides to try hypnotherapy – and this seemingly harmless session sets off a chain of unexpected events that begins to unravel their carefully constructed world. In his playful debut, Swedish director Ernst De Geer blends sharp social satire with a tender romantic comedy, following a couple who slowly realize that real intimacy can’t be programmed like an app.
