Veronika Přikrylová & Studio Blato

Veronika Přikrylová is a graduate of the sculpture studios at FaVU VUT in Brno (under Jan Ambrůz) and UMPRUM in Prague (under Dominik Lang and Edith Jeřábková). Her work is characterized by meticulous material handling and a strong focus on form—qualities that she naturally brings into her ceramic practice as well. She joined the studios at Pragovka around the turn of 2013 and 2014, working on her independent projects. Over the years, her focus gradually shifted toward ceramics, culminating in the founding of Studio Blato in 2024.

Studio Blato is a ceramic studio and brand of hand-modeled and hand-painted ceramics, created directly within the Pragovka complex. The Blato product line includes both functional and decorative pieces, produced in limited collections, made to order, or as unique originals. The portfolio also features a special category, Blato Feat, created in collaboration with selected artists.
