Exhibition of Václav Litvan / Vzduch, voda, Velký a Malý vůz

Pragovka Gallery invites you to the exhibition of Václav Litvan Vzduch, voda, Velký a Malý vůz (3. 10. – 14. 12. 2025). The opening will take place on Thursday 2 October at 6 pm.

The sculptural exhibition of artist Václav Litvan (1983) is based on found objects, which he subjects to both formal and semantic reworking. In his current exhibition, he develops the principle of the ready-made towards a search for the essence of the object — from the physical find through its cultural context to its ideal form. The theme of wear, necessity, and the invisibility of everyday things, often carrying the mysterious addition of personal stories, is transformed not only into relief modifications that explore the relationship between the object, its depiction, and its meaning.
