The program will include a guided tour through the URGE exhibition project with curator Jagna Domżalska, two art performances, American artist Chad Stayrook will reveal the output of his artist residency and there will be an art workshop for the little ones.

„URGE” located at The White Room is a project presenting three separated shows curated by Jagna Domżalska. They all address matters spread between instinct, deeply internalised needs and desires. Solo show of Agnieszka Grodzińska titled „Headquarters. The Act of Factocracy and Co-Desires” analyzes how one deals with being placed in spaces where people are grouped and expected to function in certain system, like offices, schools, hospitals. „Lovers of Leftovers” is a group show on constant need to search for beauty. Vasil Artamonov (CZE), Piotr Bosacki (PL), Jan Domicz (PL), Julie Chovin (FR/GE), Alex and John Gailla (SW/GE), Agnieszka Grodzińska (PL) and Miłosz Rygiel – Sańko create sophisticated objects from abandoned materials with some obsession or compulsion, yet there seems to be tenderness in the way they treat it. Babycraver by artistic duo "Dublet” -Przemysław Piniak a Agnieszka Grodzińska - is a multidisciplinary project which speculates about having a baby by unusual potential parents – two friends, who are not a couple: gay man and a straight woman. The show touches issues such as questionning instincts, lack of safety or protection in conservative Poland and stereotypes: is the mother soft and loving, while father’s role is to be hard and demanding?
