Lecture and Q&A with Kateřina Šedá / accompanying program to the exhibition

The Factory Effect – how do factories and work influence our lives? This question will be explored in a talk by artist Kateřina Šedá, who will present her work centered around the theme of labor. She will focus in particular on her project Nedá se svítit, which is represented in the exhibition by a selection of scarves from Nošovice embroidered across different time periods. Šedá will also discuss other works inspired by the theme of labor, including Elitka 100 and Je mi to jedno. The talk will be followed by a Q&A with the artist and the exhibition curator Anežka Jabůrková.

Kateřina Šedá's presentation is part of the accompanying program to the exhibition Around the Clock: The Factory Effect and will follow a guided tour of the exhibition with curator Anežka Jabůrková and the artist herself, taking place on Thursday, 15 May at 6 PM at Pragovka Gallery.
