MMR Expert Forum on Spatial Planning Reform

Today, more than 70 experts from both the public and private sectors will gather in the event spaces of Pragovka to discuss legislative changes and the recodification of spatial planning, under the leadership of the Ministry of Regional Development. The main goal is to create a modern, flexible system that responds to current social, economic, and environmental challenges.

The forum will also address issues such as the inefficient preparation of new developable areas, the lengthy approval process for changes in spatial plans, the relationships between the state, municipalities, and developers, the role of digital tools, and support for smaller municipalities.

The Minister for Regional Development, Petr Kulhánek, will also attend the discussion forum.
