Otto Placht – often referred to as the "painter of the jungle" – lives between two worlds: the concrete landscapes of Prague and the vibrant wilderness of the Peruvian Amazon. In the heart of the rainforest, he built his own studio and draws inspiration from nature, ayahuasca, and the spiritual wisdom of local communities. This film follows his creative journey across continents – from meditative immersion in the jungle to the stark contrast of urban life and the tensions within his personal relationships. Placht’s painting emerges not only as a visual expression of inner visions, but also as a powerful call to protect a vanishing world.
