magine you’re flying above the city, its towers reaching up to meet you, but you remain above, gazing down at the structures beneath your feet. From this height, the citizens are invisible; only the architecture remains, etching its patterns across the landscape. The layout may be organic and natural, following the contours of rivers and hills, or it may defy them with rigid rectangles and squares.What does this tell us? How does it make us feel? Who lives in this city? Or perhaps they abandoned it long ago. Only the shapes of the buildings can provide answers, or better yet, invite you to guess.
