Exhibition Block III / Opening

We warmly invite you to the opening of this year’s third exhibition block. On Thursday, 3 September, three new exhibition projects will open simultaneously at Pragovka Gallery.

German artist Stafan Hurtig explores the question of how we coexist with other, non-human beings and what we can learn from the sustainable ways in which algae live. His exhibition is entitled SOLIDARITIES.

In the second exhibition, CATCHING THE THREAD, artists Aleksandrina Yordanova and Stanislava Karbušickápresent works rooted in a focused engagement with materials, haptic experience, and meticulous craftsmanship.

MURMURING MATTER is a joint exhibition by Radka Částková and Magdalena Šimurdová. The artists share a fascination with the inorganic natural world, rich in sediments and layered rock formations. The installation brings together their material research to date, exploring ore, sand, glass, cement, and plaster and transforming these materials into new compositions.

The exhibition opening will take place at Pragovka Gallery on Thursday, 3 September, from 6 PM.
