Pessimism of criticism, optimism of action / accompanying program

Join us for the accompanying program to Maud Kotasová’s exhibition Živý nás nedostanou on Thursday, November 20, from 6 PM.

In addition to the catalogue launch and a guided tour of the exhibition with the artist and curator Vladimír Merta, you can look forward to interventions by two artists whose works, invited by Maud Kotasová, will deliberately merge with the existing installation, interacting with it or even parasitizing it until the end of the exhibition. Through their contributions, they will convey their own authentic messages that translate emotional experience or comment on the realities of the present moment.

The program will feature surprise installations by Johana Merta, balancing between installation, sculpture and environmental research, and paintings by Jiří Dolinský, which will stain you with their raw human energy. The content and scope remain unknown in advance, the only certainty is that both artists have been given complete freedom at Maud Kotasová’s request.
