Little John / Dernissage

The exhibition called Little John is ending and just 29.6. you will have the opportunity to see it for the last time at the Pragovka Gallery.

The exhibition refers to a significant artistic achievement in the history of art of the second half of the 20th century. The exhibition uses the work I Like America and America Likes me by the iconic German author Joseph Beuys as the phenomenological essence of the spirit that permeates it. This 1974 performance by the author, who, upon arriving in America, wraps himself in felt, is transported by the local ambulance service and locks himself in a cage for several days in a room with a live wild coyote named Little John, was not only symbolic of the creation of a certain non-hierarchical relationship between two living entities, but above all by paying tribute to the wild animal, which is a symbol of the original American Indian population.
