Concert

Accept our invitation to the accompanying program of the exhibition by Ukrainian artist Oksana Sadovenko Where Do Pigeons Sleep? on Thursday, March 19 at 6 pm.

You can look forward to a guided tour of the exhibition with the artist and curator Jana Písaříková, a collective workshop to create healthy food balls for street pigeons, and the launch of a small exhibition catalogue.

From 7 pm, the evening will continue with a concert by Richard Hronský. Richard Hronský is a transdisciplinary artist, musician, and “ambient shepherd” working in the region of the Western Carpathians. He plays the fujara, and in his live performances he focuses on the decomposition of its sound through electronic processing, its “denationalization,” and, together with compositional harmonies and collected field recordings, transforms it into boundless dreamlike landscapes. These landscapes mourn the sorrows of the world, reveal intimacy through nostalgia and frozen memory, while also inviting contemplation and silence.
