PRAGOVKA XMAS GUIDE 2021

Wondering what to give for Christmas to your loved ones, friends or family? Pragovka has prepared a Xmas Gift Guide for you, in which you will find a lot of ideas and tips for gifts that are not only nice, but you can also support art and culture or your favorite artist, who resides in Pragovka.

WORKSHOPS

• Rudy Slon

Flowers will delight every woman, this is a well-known saying. At Rudy Slon studio, you can tie your own flower bouquet as part of a flower workshop. Wreaths are an integral part of Christmas, but in Pragovka you can create a wreath all year round. Wreath workshops, which are held in the Red Elephant studio several times a week, can be a great gift for a group of friends who want to enjoy their time together a little bit more special.

ONLINE CHRISTMAS ART BAZAAR

Our regular ART BAZAAR, where you can buy a nice artwork pieces from the Pragovka residents cannot welcome you on site this year, however, given the current situation, we decided to do Art Bazaar a little differently - ONLINE! Our residents will submit their original products and works of art (at a maximum price of CZK 4,000) to the Facebook group "Pragovka Online Art Bazaar". Find your favorite artist and gift a piece of Pragovka.

GIVE A GIFT OF ART SUPPORT

You can support the very existence of the association Pragovka for Art on the darujme.cz website, where you can choose from two options to support our association, that takes care of most art related activities at Pragovka. The options to choose from are Pragovka Gallery and The White Room - two galleries that bring many interesting artists and their works to the beautiful industrial space. CUSTOMIZED GIFTS

• Sculpture made by Sochařská Pohotovost

The team from the Sochařská Pohotovost (Sculpture Emergency) came up with a very unusual gift. Get a sculpture made to order from them, and it's up to you whether you choose a bust or anything else. An experienced team will certainly advise you and create an unmistakable piece.

• Furniture from Woodcock

Dan Tůma focuses on recycling and renovating wooden furniture. Together with set designer Tomáš Zmrzlý, he produces industrial, recycled furniture. But you can also renovate your own furniture and you don't have to worry, Dan in his restoration studio emphasizes the preservation of the original details of the furniture in order to preserve its original beauty.

If you prefer photography, Pragovka Xmas Gift Guide recommends resident Anna Pleslová. She focuses on product photography, but could be hired even for events or weddings. You can also rent the photographers from Atelier Kolbenka and their studio that offers both background and studio equipment.

POP-UP SHOP / PASTA ONER

Pasta Oner, one of the most prominent representatives of the contemporary Czech art scene, is organizing his POP-UP SHOP on 7.12.2020.
